Ari Herstand (Ari's Take)

Hey Ari, been following you on Twitter and I'm really getting a ton out of your articles. Thanks for being so generous with your knowledge.

Quick question, after reading your article about traveling with your instrument, I have a Taylor as well and travel with a hard case which takes up so much room in the overhead compartments it really discourages me from traveling with it. Are you a soft case guy or a hard case? I'm reluctant to travel with a soft case just because it is such an expensive guitar to travel with. Maybe I'm worrying to much about it!

Thanks for your insight,

Have you tried to fit the Taylor up above? I have a Taylor and I've used both hard shell and semi-soft shell cases when traveling. Unless your guitar has a double neck or something you'll be fine flying with it.
