Hey Manny, sorry for the late reply. Just saw this question.

The best advice I can give is to hone in on your niche. The more targeted the better. You can't carpet bomb the entire world with marketing like major labels promoting superstar pop acts can, so pick a very specific target audience and target them directly. It may be a community within a community within a community. Start with your local town, but go deeper. Make a list of everyone you think would like your music. Who are Your Fans? Where do they hang out? Do they go to church? How old are they? Male or female? Do they hang out at bars, venues, clubs, cafes, the movies, restaurants? Do they have kids? What other artists do they like? What kind of beer do they drink? Or do they drink wine?

Once you understand who your fans are (will be) then you can target them based on the various niche's: like, church-going, coffee aficionados, around 30-45, mostly female who have kids and like Adele, Taylor Swift and Rachel Platten.
